J.R. is an executive leader with 25+ years of expertise in healthcare operations, business development, client success, and AI-enabled solution design. He has spent his career inside the health sector — at major payers including HCSC (Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas) and Centene, and as a senior executive for international solution providers serving healthcare and workers' compensation payers across North and South America.

Across his career, J.R. has led commercial functions delivering 10x growth in under two years, closed government contracts in excess of $30M, and overseen complex enterprise system conversions impacting more than 1,000 employees. He brings deep operational expertise across claims, provider relations, contact center operations, client success, and managed care — having actually run the functions most consultants observe from the outside.

In recent years, J.R. has applied modern AI tooling to the work, building production solutions for healthcare policy modeling and operational decision support. His work bridges 25 years of operator experience with practical AI-enabled delivery — bringing tools to market in weeks rather than months, and keeping the operator's judgment at the center of every engagement.

J.R. is the founder of IX Solutions and a partner at Nexus Health Strategies. He is based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and serves clients nationwide.
